This is a treasure trove of study material for anyone who wants to understand this subject and it is written in such a way that any believer of any level of maturity can benefit and grow. For this reason, the material in this book is presented in an academic manner, while also emphasizing the spiritual manifestation and practical application of Biblical principles in an easy to read format. Additionally, in efforts to make the topics more alive the reader will discover some "story" forms of the Biblical examples so that the reader can relax a bit when dealing with so much intense information. There are also numerous Bible references, listed according to the subjects and in various translations so to make the subject clearer. Volume One purposely does not exclusively emphasize the musical expressions of praise and worship. That is not the purpose for this first volume. This is because should only about 12 percent of the Scripture verses pertaining to the subject of praise and worship were musical in practice. The rest are non-musical. In this case, the majority rules and Volume One must emphasize that majority of non-musical approach. In an attempt to provide a thorough overview of each subject, a variety of important angles have been emphasized and provided. Throughout the text of this Volume One, the Judaic and Middle Eastern cultures are referenced to when necessary to clarify important Biblical texts. The supportive research and information for these references was derived from a wide assortment of Bible Encyclopedias, books on Cultural Studies, history books of all sorts, interviews with various scholars and persons acquainted with the subjects discussed, and many more resources too numerous to mention. In conjunction with this, and considering the languages of the ancient texts, great efforts have been made to straightforwardly identify the Hebrew and Greek words used in the Scripture passages examined. The reading and study of these materials will open the eyes and hearts of those who want to see the Church released in true worship, in Spirit and truth, according to God's Word and Spiritual Principles.
